Of course not! Although, there is one – but, you know, they manage to sneak in everywhere!
It is always difficult to write about the Jews. The topic is so touchy, in most cases, it is either fully sterilized by those afraid of appearing unbourgeois and uncivil (these often say that Jews are okay and that's enough knowledge for you if you aren't a Jew yourself) or twisted into unkind and petty conspiracytardism by those wishing the sympathies of uneducated (these delve really deep into the slightest sectarian differences between various Jewish groups only to paint them all in some menacing way). Although the question of belonging to this or that abstract entity relates to all possible ethnicities and nations and is the basis of all nationalisms, both Jews and non-Jews wrote numerous books on “Who is a Jew?” and the topic itself will forever remain prone to manipulations of politicians. Apart from belonging to a particular Semitic tribe or practicing a particular Abrahamic religion, this question is always understood as a mechanism of othering people - either by the collective consensus of a dominating group or by a person’s individual decision. Thus the secondary understanding of the word is an outcast, black sheep, or white raven. This understanding transcends cultural stereotypes across all countries. Nevertheless, the most antisemitic people I have met weren't conspiracy theorists. They were phlegmatic assimilationists, downplaying the importance of the Jewish question and shifting the focus to the ideas of their particular tribe. Only after starting to learn the essence of Judaic beliefs from their original sources, I have started to understand why these buttoned-up moderates annoy me more than anyone else.

(((Rabbi Moshe of Kobrin))): When you go through the furrows of a field, you must go up and down from one flower bed to the next. This is true as well when you worship G-d. At times you ascend and at times you descend. At times you overcome your base impulses, and at times they strike back at you. Just make sure that you strike the final blow.
By the time Jews started crawling out of their provincial Mediterranean oblivion, the world was already fairly developed. Arts and sciences flourished. Trade and war coexisted. Rome was a successful and beautiful empire in the process of spreading tolerant and beautiful polytheistic religion, which searched for the closest analogs of their deities among any local tribe they came across. For the most part, this worked well, as most peoples shared the old Greek indifference to what was exactly happening at Olympus. “Prometheus fights the Zeus for the sake of people's progress? Cool story bro, let's get back to math”. The Jews however proved to be the problem. Not only because the theological knowledge of their clergy was advanced for the time and could rival Graeco-Roman despite the fundamental theoretical difference. But also because the average uneducated Jews proved to be way more concerned and anxious about the issue. Many of them claimed to have direct contact with their God, had constant divine revelations, promised supernatural retributions, and performed all sorts of tricks they called miracles. People walked barefoot on burning coal in both Rome and Jerusalem, yet for Romans it was mere entertainment, for the Jews it was a claim for the title of prophet. John the Baptist types were numerous and competed with each other for the title of most infamous heretic.
The historical aspects will not be the subject of this text. First, they are overdone by many academicians. Second, they aren’t as important to my positioning as activist and influencer. I am more interested in cultural and contemporary issues. Still, a few historical facts need to be mentioned to put things in the correct perspective. Because the post-Antiquity Jewry was displaced across entire Europe, I think it is fair to say that Jews are Europeans and Europe is Jewish. Otherness and similarity is a point of contention for both Jews and non-Jews in Europe, with thinkers and politicians trying to preserve, lessen, or increase the differences. Yet the whole issue is not at all relatable to Africans and Asians, for whom it is a dispute of White factions. As a group, Muslim Africans tend to be anti-Jewish because of Muslim solidarity with Arabs, but when it comes to private relationships - most of them don’t differentiate much between Jews and Italians. In Asia, two peoples compete for the title of local Jews - Chinese and Vietnamese. Both have large widespread diasporas across the entire continent, both try to preserve their native culture in their new environments, and both have difficulties with local blood-and-soil nationalists.
Within Europe, Jews were shaped by the laws of local lords in a manner only a bit less significant than rabbinical dogmas. For a serious stretch of time they were more compatible with Eastern Slavs than with non-Slavic Europeans, which is why Poland and Ukraine hold a big percentage of shares in Jewish legacy. Obviously, this was not to the liking of various Slavic strongmen and strongwomen, and various bloody conflicts were happening from time to time. Western European laws encouraged urban ghettoization and limited specialization, this is where the “traditional” Jewish craftsmen appeared - bankers, jewellers, and violin players. Unlike the West, the East had a place for Jewish peasantry - until Catherine the Great decided that was a problem in 1791. Although harshness of Russian laws is often mitigated by their optionality, a great deal of ruckus related to Jewish land ownership was going on since then until the very October Revolution. (((Leon Trotsky))) himself was a Russophone Jewish-Ukrainian peasant after all.
This distinction frequently shines in Israel. Post-Western Israelis, brought up among heavily religious crowd, clamor the freedom from religious dogmas their post-Eastern compatriots are very much familiar with thanks to the Soviet experience. Once I was settling a family of non-Soviet Israeli Christians in Kharkiv, as their daughter just entered Karazin University and needed a permanent rented apartment. Young and left-leaning, she rejoiced at the fact that everything works on Saturdays in Ukraine. Whereas her parents, as open-minded and Westernized as it is possible for ethnic Ashkenazi, weren’t prepared for this.

While Jews clamor for miraculous demonstrations and Greeks go in for philosophical wisdom, we go right on proclaiming Christ, the Crucified. Jews treat this like an anti-miracle - and Greeks pass it off as absurd. But to us who are personally called by God himself - both Jews and Greeks - Christ is God's ultimate miracle and wisdom all wrapped up in one. Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can't begin to compete with God's "weakness." Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don't see many of "the brightest and the best" among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families. Isn't it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these "nobodies" to expose the hollow pretensions of the "somebodies"? That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God.
Some researchers attribute the phenomenon of heightened Jewish religious zealotry to the theory of the bicameral mind and hypothesize that the Jews were merely the last tribe to move beyond it and still retain some leftovers of that worldview. Others look at the puzzle of predominantly Jewish genetic disorders, such as Gaucher’s disease or Tay-Sachs disease. Educated and uneducated alike mostly agree that Jewish men are weaker and more feminine in comparison to most Caucasian men, so additional brain and neurological activity might be attributed to survival issues, as a cover-up for physical deficiencies. Renowned Jewish film director (((Woody Allen))) covered this topic in his numerous movies, where he somehow managed to gain the attention of female goyim despite looking comical and awkward in the presence of traditional European masculine ideals. In Eastern Europe, birthplace of many influential rabbis, one additional feature is noticed and acknowledged by literally everyone: apparent Jewish genetic immunity to alcoholism. Whereas Slavic men succumb to it fairly frequently, Jews can drink and revel without ever forming an addiction. Even I, a mischling of second degree according to Nazi genetical purity Nuremberg laws, almost an Aryan according to Nazi own dogmas, can confirm that I have never had a hangover in my entire life no matter how much I drank. I am always puzzled and bemused when others talk about hangovers. It is possible to meet a poor Jew, a homeless Jew, but never an alcoholic Jew. Alcohol is also an important bonding ritual for working classes. Obviously, the difference in effects contributes to the greater difference in developing phenotypes.
I can also confirm that chutzpah is a very real, biological, and neurological phenomenon. It is not related to anything except the blood. I saw it manifest in people with wildly different upbringing and social status. Orthodox Jews do wield it most efficiently however, for them it’s like a mix of battle trance, meditation, and palm reading - they entrust their physical safety to God for the sake of deeper insight in another man’s personality. Once I saw a single black-cladded Jew successfully routing a dozen armed militants out of building in Odesa. A building that Jew wanted to illegally appropriate. He succeeded.

(((Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk))): It is better to be fully wicked than only somewhat good.
An outside observer usually only cares whether the person is Jewish or not. Not what kind of a Jew they are or how they intend to mingle with non-Jews around them. To Jews themselves, Jews can be wicked, righteous, and even holy. There was a guy named (((The Holy Jew of Pshis’cha))), who overcame the limits of identity brought up by my recent guest Volodymyr Zolotaryov, who said that others are not likely to start calling you “your Majesty”. Not only that Jew called himself that, but other Jews also called him that. This attitude reflects the increased intensity the Jews tend to give to all matters theological, philosophical, and abstract. Whereas average Christians are usually satisfied with being good (which they are, according to them) and pray for the sins of others (who are usually evil, according to them), Jews are not only far more existential, trying to get a lived experience of what is wickedness and what is righteousness, they also doubt themselves and their own spiritual leaders, always ready to acknowledge anyone’s insufficient holiness. A Jew with a lot of loyal disciples can proclaim himself Moshiah, the true Messiah. A Jew named (((Jesus))) did that once and successfully created a branch of Judaism called Christianity. Those who found his claims empty are still looking for Moshiah. Here we encounter a class-based distinction not that different from the “revolution in two years” slogan of any state-controlled opposition. The more prosperous the leader, the more he is ready to remain in eternal wait.
Accelerationists in Judaism are called Hasid, they emphasize the concept of the imminent arrival of the Messiah, with a focus on spiritual preparation and anticipation for his coming. Two men are considered proto-Hasid for they have successfully claimed the messianic status and had a decent number of followers who recognized them as such. The 17th-century mystic (((Sabbatai Zevi))), who led a fairly influential but as of now irrelevant Sabbatean movement. (((Zevi))) thought that the way to become the Moshiah was through deliberate sin, since long before him there was a belief that the Moshiah would surely show up if all the Israelites become either totally righteous or totally wicked. He decided that complete decadence was a more achievable goal than complete virtue and encouraged mass blasphemy and desecration of Jewish (not Christian or Islamic, Jewish) law. Ottoman authorities didn’t like the idea and forced his conversion to Islam, which his most ardent disciple (((Nathan of Gaza))) defended as “descent into the abyss to defeat the demonic power down there”. And a more recent and relevant (((Jacob Frank))), who spent a fair bit of his life in the aptly named town of Sataniv, the western part of modern Khmelnytskyi oblast, where he was condemned by the rabbinical court for claiming to be the reincarnation of both Zevi and biblical Jacob, the one who wrestled with angels. Still, Judaic herem holds much less sway than Christian anathema because of Judaism’s strong moral relativism. Anyone who would be branded a heretic in Christianity starts a discussion about antinomianism in Judaism instead. Very obscure word for everyone except the religious Jews. (((Frank))) supported the idea of salvation through sin and vices while his followers were half-assimilationists. They wore European clothes, accepted European views on honor (were willing to participate in duels), created a new syncretic Judaeo-Christian set of beliefs (in a much more literal way than whatever is presented as Judaeo-Christian in modern West), and eventually converted to Catholicism in Lviv, to much rejoicing of locals.
(((Frank))) lived during the same general period of the 18th century as (((Moses Mendelssohn))), a prominent figure in the Jewish Enlightenment, also known as the Haskalah, and their ideas and activities were known to each other. (((Mendelssohn))) believed in the compatibility of Judaism with modernity and Enlightenment ideals, arguing for Jews to embrace secular knowledge and culture while maintaining their religious identity. He sought to reconcile traditional Jewish beliefs with the new and trendy (among non-Jews) rational philosophy, particularly the ideas of the German philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Frankists, on the other hand, weren't trying to promote German rationalism anywhere and mostly wanted to bridge the gap between Jewish mysticism, kabbalah and conservative forms of Christianity. Obviously, this desire was met with resistance by those who wanted to preserve existing forms of both Judaism and Christianity. Traces of this split can still be observed across Europe. Germanized "rational" Jews work at many mainstream modernist liberal institutions, whereas mystics tend to support conservative opposition. In Russia, liberal opposition has the implicitly Jewish reformist flavor, whereas conservative opposition in the European Union is often funded by Israel.
Although the majority of modern Hasidic leaders deny connections with (((Zevi))) and (((Frank))), independent researchers often highlight the similarities between how they treat the importance of fervent prayer, joyous worship, emotional experiences, and spiritual connection with God. Apart from Germanophile reformists, a number of Orthodox groups oppose Hasidim precisely because of their dislike of Sabbateanism. One major force is called Misnagdim, and they are very much alive across Europe, having a stronghold in Lithuania. They are especially hostile towards Polish and Ukrainian Hasidim and like to side with reformists whenever there is a chance to harm Hasidim. One fresh example is of course Jewish-Ukrainian oligarch (((Ihor Kolomoysky))), who is currently imprisoned and persecuted at the request of Joe Biden’s State Department strategists. Condemned for his Chabad connections by the most pro-Russian of my blog’s guests, Orthodox Christian social-democrat Andriy Voytsekhovsky, he sees no support from Jewish-Ukrainian Atlantic Council fellow (((Vladislav Davidzon))) either.

(((Rabbi Nachman of Breslov))): Millions of people are born like mice, live like mice, and die like mice. Make sure you are not one of them.
Anyone who ever tried organizing an orgy knows that the addition of religious mysticism, especially an exotic one, will make things more difficult, not less. Maybe the 17th-century Hasidim could do something Christians could not. But even that is doubtful, as it is commonly known that brothels existed across all Christian cultures, often under the patronage of reigning churches. Converting to Sabbatean Frankism in our days would increase the expenses tenfold, modern high fashion models are picky. The only reason to do so is to introduce an additional esoteric touch, but it will be an unfeasible feat if your name isn’t (((Roman Abramovich))).
When we look at what these supposed neo-Frankists are engaged in Uman, it can be called an orgy - but only a spiritual one. Unlike the bewildered bystanders, I can understand the point of littering around, stuffing microwaves into fridges, and jumping atop the police cars. It’s an attempt to rise above corporeal limits, and light up the divine sparks, concealed within the mundane, all the stuff described in Lurianic Kabbalah. Apart from the necessity to obey your wise elders and all the usual monotheistic parts, it has probably two most glaring differences from the worldview of the post-Christian majority in the West. The idea of Tzimtzum, which suggests that prior to creation, God contracted or withdrew his infinite presence to create a space for the world to exist. It introduces the idea of divine self-limitation, allowing for the existence of finite creation. And the doctrine of Shevirat HaKelim (Shattering of the Vessels). According to Lurianic Kabbalah, the process of creation involved the emanation of divine light into vessels, which were unable to contain the intensity of this light and shattered. This cataclysmic event resulted in the scattering of divine sparks throughout the material world, creating a fragmented reality. The subsequent spiritual work of humanity involves the gathering and elevation of these sparks to repair the cosmos. By the way, although popularized mostly by goyim and semitophiles like Alistair Crowley, tarot cards are a correct representation of kabbalistic views and thus the disrespect towards tarot cards is undeniably antisemitic.
What is not at all clear is where are all the women of these Jews? I looked through hundreds of photos of Uman festivities and haven’t found a single woman. This means it is «the» most patriarchal pilgrimage in the world. When you look at the publicly available photos of Hajj in Mecca you see the tendency of Western liberal outlets to inflate the number of women present there. But even on specialized Islamic sites, it is possible to see numerous veiled and partially veiled women in the immediate vicinity of Kaaba. It is known that women do have separate gatherings in Hasidic communities, but why not in Uman? Will have to ask them personally someday. For what it is worth, they proved their bravery by continuing the tradition during the ongoing war.

(((Inna Stessel))), a Russophone Israeli journalist asks a question to the legend of Russian liberalism Valeriya Novodvorskaya: “Humanity has consistently harbored unfavorable feelings towards Jews throughout the centuries. Do you have your own, non-irrational, non-mystical explanation for antisemitism?"
Answer: "Of course I do. Jewish superiority. Superiority is difficult to forgive. Jews have always been more educated, tidy, and smarter than the people among whom they lived. Even Catholic clergy sought knowledge from rabbis. And, of course, the Jewish ability to make money irritates those around them, although the same superiority can explain this. Thank God, you have your own country, and there is no need to depend on the love or hatred of other peoples."
It is fitting that a female journalist seeks a rational argument from a female spiritual descendant of Haskalah, since rational liberalism is the most suitable habitat for Jewish women in non-Jewish societies. Orthodox Jews and gentile conservatives both have their own authorities, they are mostly men. Going against Jewish men is only fashionable in most advanced countries, such as the United States, where a reformist Jewish woman (((Jill Stein))) can be anti-Zionist without looking antisemitic in the eyes of her “leftist” peers. Going against gentile men is perfectly okay everywhere, which is why Jewish women are often champions of third-wave feminism in second and third worlds.
She does get a mystical answer though, which invokes spiritual matters and offers subjective labels. Not in tune with modern recipes for talking about the rule of law, rules-based orders, and human rights. In post-Sovietia, Jewish women attempted to transcend this problem during the late Perestroika. Due to the crisis of official atheism and Orthodox revivalism being temporarily associated with anti-statist freedom, there was an unexpected resurgence of Nicholas Roerich popularity. He was mystical enough for the Jews, but especially for the Jewish women. Quite a number of them tried to convert to Orthodox Christianity at the time. Many Orthodox priests shared their impressions of having to work with these demographics. Their assessments tended to be tired and weary, they were never fond of having to do it. The main reason was that the Jews, unlike their usual Slavic brethren, were never satisfied with a mere salvation, a mere blessing, or a mere affirmation of righteousness. They were always over-analyzing everything and, willingly or unwillingly, introducing even greater amounts of mysticism than even Roerich did.
Knowing this, how can we explain the general artificial cleanliness, associated with distinctively Jewish post-Soviet liberalism? We are bored to death and start yawning when we look at (((Maxim Katz))) or (((Yevgenia Albats))), there is nothing remotely Frankist about them. Apart from the obvious Germanophilic Enlightenment connection, I suspect that being closer to European and American bureaucracy means knowing their plans better. Those plans can be good or evil but they are neither Russian nor Jewish, and they are managerial, not metaphysical in nature. Russian liberal is a Russian liberal in a manner not much different from how a Ukrainian nationalist is a Ukrainian nationalist. Being simply Russian or simply Ukrainian means being content conservative, whereas these two strata do have political and cultural projects for the rest of their population. They want to do things. And once Orthodox revivalism became Orthodox fundamentalism, an ideological pillar for the Kremlin, the only fate left to Russian rational Jews was to either support the Kremlin or become a foreign agent.

(((Rabbi Moshe of Razvadov))): One who does not fear lightning and thunder is either completely righteous or completely wicked.
Antisemites often try to keep their ranks completely non-Jewish, but even Adolf Hitler had numerous Jews in positions of power. One of the most outlandish conspiracy theories you can find among modern Neo-Nazis is that Hitler was a Sabbatean Frankist crypto-Jew, conceived during an orgy after the celebration party in honor of (((Sabbatai Zevi)))'s birthday. These types often believe that Hitler was a mere tool for the realization of (((Theodor Herzl))) plans, they research the Ashkenazi roots of Eva Braun, and try to be to the right of both Hitler and Julius Evola.
Although funny (and, thus, Hasidic - knowing the Hasidic views on revelry and laughter) when in moderate dosage, for some ethnonationalists this road often leads to asylum. A once-talented writer and anti-Soviet dissident Grigory Klimov became the most well-known Russophone example of the illness that begets you to find Jewish ancestry in everyone around you. The subject of one of my future texts Edouard Limonov liked to contrast his moderate, rational, and thus handshake-worthy antisemitism with Klimov’s. People to the right of Limonov weren’t immune as well. Prominent Russian neo-fascist group Pamyat (Memory) split according to their understanding of what constitutes Judaeo-Zionist mischief. Orthodox fundamentalist Dmitry Vasilyev believed that the Zionists (a word with unclear meaning in post-Sovietia, with only a minority able to recognize it as a label of people who think that Israel was worth creating and is worth preserving, with the majority thinking it a name for wicked Jews) were destroying Christianity in Russia, while the neo-pagan teacher of the Hebrew language Valery Emelyanov thought that Christianity was forced on Russia by Zionists in the first place.
Comparing the importance of the Jewish question to both the right and liberal currents inside Russia we cannot unsee the difference in treatment towards another minority - Muslims. Whereas only a handful of Jews remained in Russia after 1991, Muslims never founded any new state and continued to multiply. Former rebel Ramzan Kadyrov even became an official authority, arguably even more important than Putin himself. It is foolish but somewhat safe to criticize Putin inside Russia. It is much more dangerous to criticize Kadyrov inside Russia. Because he can get to you via unofficial means and is very open about it. Those few Jews who do have the power either work in shadows and live like (((Abramovich))) or open their mouths and are killed like (((Boris Berezovsky))). In my opinion, Berezovsky came closer than anyone yet to the status of a Russian Jew. A combination of senses and words deemed incompatible by a majority in Russia. The majority might allow the Russian of Jewish origins term. But only to those super pro-Kremlin Jews like (((Vladimir Zhirinovsky))).
Pre-war Ukraine was mostly outside of these dogmatic skirmishes. The majority of local Jews were bilingual, tolerant, and for a time were managing to balance the desires of ethnonationalists and Eurasianists. Although each president was named a Jew by his haters long before (((Volodymyr Zelensky))), nobody bothered to discover what it meant exactly, apart from the stereotype of being rich and powerful. I cannot vouch for the Jewish acceptability within the ranks of the Ukrainian far-right, however. The antisemitism of Russian far-right is usually tied to religious considerations, whereas Ukrainian radicals build their strategies around blood purity and ethnic identity. They like to remember OUN member (((Lev Rebet))) when talking to Ukrainian Jews, but I cannot remember a single prominent Jew, whether religious or ethnic, in the Azov movement or Svoboda party. They exist in the national democratic scene, with former Prime Minister (((Volodymyr Groysman))) being the most popular.

(((The Holy Jew of Pshis’cha))): There is a spark of holiness even in heresy. One who sees others stumble and fall must strive to help them, and not say: “They are on the brink of falling – that is the will of G-d”.
Probably the most obvious Jewish weaknesses are visual arts and visual self-presentation. Judaic taboos on idolatry and depiction of people were less serious than Islamic but more strict than Christian. This is why most Jews were discouraged from developing an interest in paintings throughout the entire Middle Ages and Renaissance. (((Moritz Daniel Oppenheim))) is considered the first serious Jewish painter and the guy was born very recently by the standards of craft, in 1800. He and a few similar artists were so Europeanized, that only a handful of Jews recognized the Jewishness of their art. The first artist who got such recognition from both mystical and rational Jews was (((Marc Chagall))). A fairly popular person among the Old Bolsheviks, who almost became a commissar of visual arts for the country, in his craft he was nevertheless opposed both by suprematists and social realists, who were to the left and right of him respectively. His eclectic style, combining both pre-revolutionary and revolutionary elements, was deemed reactionary by the future inhabitants of GULAG and un-proletarian by their future guards. Although he forever remained a moderate Sovietophile, only the Jews knew about him during the late stages of the USSR. He definitely influenced modern Hasidic art in greater measure than (((Oppenheim))), as you can see for yourself at this site, which sells affordable paintings. Only 30K$ for acrylic on canvas made in 2013 is the deal of a lifetime!
Perhaps this long suppression is the reason why only truly rich and sophisticated Jews from the league of (((Jeffrey Epstein))) or (((Harvey Weinstein))) are able or willing to dress according to the requirements of the event. If you see a weird guy at Met Gala ball or your average fashionable presentation, usually it has something to do with his ethnicity or religion.
For most Slavic people this feature is not at all clear. The rich Jew stereotype is strong enough to marry you without the need to show the actual money or prove their existence. Whatever looks rich looks Jewish for most in post-Sovietia.

(((Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk))): Utterly righteous people who have never tasted sin are also worthy of mercy – lest they grow proud of their righteousness and become arrogant, which is the severest of sins.
Those Jewish women who somehow internalized and promoted Western ideals of heteronormativity despite the pressure of less attractive Jewish women are disliked in Israel but feel okay in post-Sovietia. Old readers of mine know that I measure the acceptability and popularity of heterosexuality in a country by the well-being and quality of its domestic beauty pageant. In Israel, it existed since 1950, just like other major pageants, yet it never gained the cult status this event enjoys in countries like France, Venezuela, or Japan. It is opposed by Reformists and Orthodox Jews alike, with only a handful of Westernists and crypto-Christians attempting to continue the tradition despite the overwhelming opposition. Their efforts are in vain for now, as the joint forces of wokeists and prudes put the pageant on hold three years ago.
